Urban birds are facing major conservation challenges. From burrowing owls to shorebirds, birds in urbanized areas need our help more than ever.
As human impacts like development, plastic pollution, and car strikes continue to grow, it’s imperative that we must do more to protect our wild neighbors. Together, we can make a lasting impact and ensure our communities continue to be bird friendly.
I promise to do my part to conserve urban and suburban open spaces and forests, safeguard local wetlands, creeks and rivers, and take action when I see injured birds (learn more). I will stand up for burrowing owls and other birds and give a voice to all animals in my community.
I pledge to…
Conserve urban and suburban open spaces and forests, safeguard local wetlands, creeks and rivers, and take action when I see injured birds.
Stand up for birds living in urban and suburban communities by encouraging cities to protect, provide and create more habitats.
Act to influence local officials to create policy that recognizes the importance of nature and open spaces for both wildlife and people.
Make a difference for all birds in my community.
Urban Bird Foundation can count on me to protect urbanized birds.
